Daughtry

This part will be about Daughtry that I've only known since November 2009 because my friend Megane told me about them.

History of Daughtry

Daughtry is an American rock band from North Carolina. Frontman Crhis Daughtry participated on Idol 5, where he got his big break. After Idol 5 he formed his own bad.

Now the band exists out of 4 member; Chris Daughtry who does vocals, Josh Steely and Brian Craddock who both play guitar and Josh Paule who plays the bass.

Their first CD 'Daughtry' came out in November 2006. This album sold over 3 million copies. They had 3 number one hits on the Billboard Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks.

They were nominated for 4 grammy awards in 2008.

In 2009 they released their second album 'Leave This Town'. On This CD the song No Surprise got to number one on the Billboard Adult Pop Songs.

The band has been touring since 2007 they have played show in Australia, the UK and across Europe. They opened for Bon Jovi a couple of shows in November 2008. After that they toured the US and Canada. On Thanksgiving 2009 they performed the half time show for the Dallas Cowboys vs. the Oakland Raiders football game. In Januari till February 2010 they accomponied Nickelback.
