Nickelback

This part will be about Nickelback. I started liking them in 2001 when they had the song 'How You Remind Me' I was 9 year old.

History of Nickelback

Nickelback is a Canadian rock band from Hanna, Alberta. They started in 1995 with Chad Kroeger who is lead singer but also plays co-lead guitar. Mike Kroeger plays lead bass. Ryan Peake plays guitar en does back ground vocals.

They released their first CD in 1996 named 'Hesher'.

The next CD came out in 1998 named 'The State' and went platinum in Canada and the United States. The CD sold over
1 100 000 copies worldwide.

In 2001 they released 'Silver Side Up' this time the CD went 8 times platinum in Canada and 6 times platinum in the United states and sold over 10 000 000 copies worldwide.

In 2003 they released the next CD named 'The Long Road' and went 3 times platinum in the United States.

Two years later, in 2005 they released 'All the Right Reasons' this time the CD went 8 times platinum in the United States and 7 times in Canada.

Their latest CD 'Dark Horse' came out in 2008 and went 6 times platinum in Canada.

We thought about when we were selling 5,000 copies of our record a week last year, when all we wanted to do was start selling 150,000 records a week, right. And now that we're doing it, we don't even think about it, all we ever think about is time off! I think we'd almost give up one week's sales for one week off. Give up 100,000 records just to go to Hawaii.
