This part will be about Switchfoot. I started liking them when I heard them on the soundtrack of 'A Walk To Remember' and liked their other songs too.

History of Switchfoot

Switchfoot is an alternative rock band from San Diego. Consisting out of brothers Jon Foreman who plays guitar and does lead vocals and Tim Foreman who plays bass guitar and backing vocals. Chad Butler plays drums and percussion. Jerome Fontamillas plays guitar, keyboard and backing vocals. Drew Shirley plays guitar and backing vocals.

Their first CD came out in 1997 named 'The Legend on Chin'.

In 1999 they released 'New Way to Be Human'.

In 2000 they released 'Learning to Breathe' it sold half a million copies.

'The Beautiful Letdown' came out in 2003 and sold 2.6 million copies.

In 2005 'Nothing Is Sound' came out. It debuted on number 3 of the Billboard 200.

'Oh! Gravity.' came out in 2006, it sold over 200 000 copies.

In 2008 'The Best Yet' sold 2.400 copies.

In 2009 they released 'Hello Hurricane' .

Their next CD is planed for 2011.
