Mika

This part will be about Mika, when he started out I was immidiately hooked on his music, back in 2006.

History of Mika

Mika is a British singer-songwriter although he was born in Lebanon his family was forced to flea the country because of the war and moved to Paris. The first piano piece he learned to play was "Les Champs-Élysées" from Joe Dassin. When he was 9 the family moved to London, where he attended a french school were he was severely bullied. thereafter he was home-schooled by his mother at the age of 12 for 6 to 8 months. afterwards he changed schools and later attended the Royal College of Music.

In 2006 he released his first extended play named 'Dodgy Holiday'

The year afterwards, in 2007 he broke through with his CD 'Life in Cartoon Motion'. In the UK alone it went 5 times platinum. In other countries it also went multiple times platinum and gold.

He released his second extended play in 2009 named 'Songs for Sorrow'. Both extended plays are only available trough digital download.

In 2009 he also released his second CD named 'The Boy Who Knew Too Much' with two big hits 'We Are Golden' and 'Rain'.

In 2010 he had a 10th UK single 'kick-ass'which is the title track to the 2010 Marvel Comics film 'Kick-Ass'

After I started singing as a boy I started to get jobs everywhere. With the help of a terrifyingly tough Russian singing teacher, I got to be really good at professional gigs.

If I was worried about sexual taboos I certainly wouldn't have made the record I made. It has nothing to do with that. It has more to do with self-respect.

I always start off wearing so many clothes, but then I just, kinda, take them off, and then,in the end, I always look the same.
